Becoming a member

We appreciate your interest in our group.  Active Guild members may sponsor a prospective new member, who will be required to attend two general meetings before requesting membership. If the prospective member chooses to be considered for membership, they must complete a new member registration form provided by the membership chairman. New members can serve as event chairs after a period of one year has passed.

General meetings are held March through November on the 4th Monday of the month.

Executive Board

The Coxhall Guild Executive Board meetings are held one week prior to the general meetings. The Board approves topics for discussion at the general meetings. Officers on the Executive Board must be a member in good standing for a period of one calendar year before they are eligible to be considered for nomination to an executive office.

Hamilton County Master Gardeners at Coxhall

As Master Gardeners for Coxhall Children’s Garden our goals are:

  • To promote gardening by creating a beautiful area for children of all ages to experience the joys of nature.
  • To strive to include more native plants which support our environment and provide for the local pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
  • To research and install plants to provide color to the garden year round.
  • To eliminate invasive plants which crowd out beneficial plants.
  • To educate visitors by answering questions during our workdays, by creating signage to explain the different gardens, and by giving tours of the garden when requested.

We meet every Thursday from 9am–12pm from April through October to work at Coxhall Children’s Garden.
